Recently spent a week in Seville during the Feria de Abril. It truly is a beautiful city with parts still remaining from it's era of Muslim rule going back to the 7th and 8th centuries, all mixed with Jewish influenced areas and more latterly (about the last 900 years or so that is) Christian architecture.
Above is:
1] The Giralda (the symbol of Seville, completed 1198)
2] Our apartment for the week
3] A view at the Real Alcazar
4] A chamber under the gardens of the Real Alcazar
Below is:
1] Cathedral
2] Church, at Hospital Venerables
3] Orange tree outside St Bartholeme Church (next to apartment)
4] Main Sacristy in the Cathedral

Fast Forward [Revvered up!]
A short film about one of the most densely populated cities in the world. This film recently featured in the I Shot Hong Kong film festival and is entered into the Prague Fringe Film Festival. Apologies for those who've seen it before - I have found a much faster host site. Click here to watch filmMonday, February 19, 2007
Dark Side of the Moon

Two days before chinese new year Roger Waters did one night in Hong Kong playing old Pink Floyd favourites and a few solo tunes too. The second half of the show was "Dark Side" in it's entirety. The band were pretty much note perfect and the show included inflatable spacemen and the famous Pigs. Fitting as it's the Year of the Pig.

Lamma Gurning

The ancient art of Gurning is said to date back to 1267. In order to carry on this fine tradition we decided to hold our very own version on Lamma Funday -- "The First International Lamma Gurning Championships". The money raised was donated to The Child Welfare Scheme in Nepal. In order to win the competition people had to make the most grotesque face and we asked everyone to hand over $HK20 a time for the privilege -- turns out there are some pretty generous (and ugly) people on Lamma. Here's a small selection of them ...
